From April 22–24, 2026, the UNITE4TB Consortium gathered in Munich, Germany, for its Annual Meeting, bringing together partners from across the globe to share progress, exchange insights, and shape the next phase of tuberculosis (TB) research and development.

The UNITE4TB Consortium has announced the start of recruitment for Wave 2 of the PARADIGM4TB trial, marking another important milestone in the effort to accelerate the development of novel tuberculosis (TB) treatment regimens.

PARADIGM4TB, the flagship trial of UNITE4TB, has reached an important milestone by successfully completing recruitment for the first stage of the study. This initial phase evaluated 10 experimental drug regimens alongside two control regimens. In total, PARADIGM4TB will test 14 drug regimens, aiming to accelerate the development of new treatments for tuberculosis (TB).

From 6 to 8 May 2025, the UNITE4TB Consortium convened in London for its Annual Meeting. Held across three venues — the Wellcome Collection, the Royal College of Physicians, and UCL’s MRC Clinical Trials Unit, the program spanned three focused days: Consortium Day, Scientific Day, and a Closed Investigator Meeting.

The UNITE4TB Consortium recently published four new publications, one in the journal of Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics and three in Breathe, making continued strides to disseminate the work of the project.
