UNITE4TB webinar: Panel discussion on Digital Adherence Technologies in TB care
Registration is open for the third UNITE4TB webinar of 2023, taking place on Thursday 28 September from 13:00-14:00 (CEST).
The speaker for the session is Mr. Kristian van Kalmthout from the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation in the Netherlands, who co-leads UNITE4TB's digital adherence technology interventions work package. Kristian’s presentation will show how the use of innovative patient support technologies, such as digital adherence technologies (DATs), offers hope in the fight against tuberculosis (TB).
The experiences of countries that introduced these technologies will be shared, as will evidence of the impact of these technologies in both clinical trials and programs. The webinar will also explain how UNITE4TB aims to implement patient support technologies as part of its planned clinical trials.
As always, the webinar will be divided into two parts of approximately 30 minutes each. The first half will be dedicated to the speaker presentation and the second half to an open discussion, moderated by Raquel Duarte (ISPUP, Portugal) and Christoph Lange (Borstel, Germany), providing ample opportunity for questions and answers.
