UNITE4TB webinar: Panel discussion on community engagement in TB action
Registration is open for the first UNITE4TB webinar of 2024, taking place on Thursday 28 March from 13:00-14:00 (CET).
With a focus on community engagement in tuberculosis (TB) treatment and care, the session aims to impart an understanding of the importance of community engagement in TB action, the link between civil society and TB care, and the specific challenges faced when it comes to engaging in clinical trials.
The speakers are Dr Paul Sommerfeld (London, United Kingdom), Dr Lucica Ditiu (Geneva, Switzerland), and Ms Olya Klymenko (Kyiv, Ukraine).
As always, the webinar will be divided into two parts of approximately 30 minutes each. The first half will be dedicated to the speaker presentations and the second half to an open discussion, moderated by Raquel Duarte (ISPUP, Portugal) and Christoph Lange (Borstel, Germany), providing ample opportunity for questions and answers.
