Tuberculosis renewed: UNITE4TB session at ERS International Congress
UNITE4TB is pleased to be participating in the upcoming European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress - an annual event that brings together respiratory experts from across the globe to showcase the latest developments in respiratory medicine and science.
The UNITE4TB session titled Tuberculosis Renewed aims to:
- Discuss the methods for diagnosing tuberculosis (TB) and identifying resistance
- Describe the different drugs and regimens being studied for TB treatment
- Explain the advances and challenges in the development of biomarkers
- Underline the importance of treatment adherence and explain the different interventions in use
The session will take place on Tuesday 12 September from 10:15-11:45 (CEST) and will feature talks by the following Consortium members: Daniela Cirillo (Milan University), Derek Sloan (University of St Andrews), Christoph Lange (Research Center of Borstel), and Raquel Duarte (ISPUP).
The 2023 ERS Congress takes place at the Allianz MiCo Centre in Milan, Italy from 9-13 September. Find out more about the Congress here.
